Recorded live in the living room in one day
while the cats where giving each other a bath,
or sleeping,
or running over the synths.

"Cat Bath Music" features an exploration of the Arturia Keystep's sequencer & arpeggiator (controlling Korg's minilogue synth).
Sequences were created live by adding or removing notes & rests so as the melodic patterns are constantly evolving into something new, creating different polyrythmic relationships between simultaneously playing arpeggios (morphing constantly between simple and odd time signatures), resulting in an adventurous rhytmic ambient style of music.
Arpeggios are dancing around some steady, minimal beats coming from a synced Moog DFAM.
Later in the game, came Behringer's Deep Mind synth which was also controlled by the Keystep and was passing through & affected by the DFAM patching bay.

The jam session resulted in about 2 hours of recorded material which was then edited into the resulting tracks of Cat Bath Music vol.1 & 2.

The artwork features a still from an old MS DOS game called "Alley Cat" (1984), one of the first ever games I played on my father's PC!:)
